Planning a Wedding?

Wedding

Welcome to our wedding page. Anyone is welcome to get married at one of our churches if they live in one of the villages, worship at one of our churches or have a family connection with a Church. For more information on where you can marry: click here.

If you would like to arrange your wedding please contact the Rural Dean (click for email).

A marriage service, wherever it is held, is a public declaration of love and commitment to your partner. If you choose to get married in church, there is an added dimension - the assurance that God cares about your relationship and that his resources and strength are available to help you. Including God in your marriage doesn't mean that you will avoid all the usual ups and downs, but you will know that you can look to God for help and guidance and that his love will sustain you. You will also have the encouragement and support of the Christian Church family here in the Briningham Benefice.

The cost of a wedding in one of our Churches in 2014 is £492 which includes an organist. We do not normally allow videos or DVD as there are copyright restrictions for which the church might be liable.

If you are divorced the Vicar will be happy to discuss with you whether a church wedding is possible. This will depend on your individual circumstances.
